I recently had the pleasure of staying at Antica Torre, and I must say it was a fascinating balance of luxury and value. Nestled in the heart of Florence, the location is superb-perfect for wandering the historical sights while being close to the train station for wider exploration. From my suite, I enjoyed stunning views of the Palazzo della Signoria and its captivating statues, a delightful way to start the day with a cup of quality coffee. The room had a solid feel, with hardwood flooring and tasteful decor that seamlessly captures the Florentine essence. Not to forget, the bathroom exceeded expectations, offering all the necessary amenities and more. The ladies at the reception were exceptionally helpful, assisting with everything from taxi bookings to local suggestions. Breakfast was a daily highlight featuring an array of fresh pastries, keeping the mornings sweet without breaking the bank. While Antica Torre provides a luxurious experience, it does so without the usual steep price tag found in other upscale options. Trust me, this hotel offers a unique opportunity to enjoy Florence's rich culture without compromising on comfort.
